jennie

Hi I'm Jennie, founder of Jennie of the Jungle. I started this company because I wanted to offer everyone the opportunity to get up close and personal with wildlife. I think that is one of the most beautiful things in this world. I have my degree in biology and conservation and am currently a wildlife rehabilitator in training and a perpetual volunteer. I've worked with research and wildlife projects abroad for over 20 years now, and I love what I do. I love sharing the experience too. Watching someone's eyes light up when seeing a wild animal for the first time is one of the best rewards I could ask for. And knowing that my volunteers are learning crucial facts about conservation and passing them forward is a reward for all of us. I can't wait to take you on an adventure!

Aron

Hi I'm Aron. I'm an avid birder with a formal background in avian training. In other words, I've been working with birds for a long time. I started leading trips for Jennie of the Jungle in 2016. My biggest accomplishment on every trip has been converting volunteers into birders! You will learn a lot about birds and see a lot of cool birds on a trip with me, whether you like it or not. But you'll return home knowing a little bit more about what makes this planet tick and the important role that every species plays in the success of our planet.

michelle

I'm Michelle, a zookeeper and primate specialist by training and now a tour leader for Zookeepers on Tour and Jennie of the Jungle. I also manage projects for the Happy Girls Project, a charity that empowers women abroad. I'm a serious traveler and am working on visiting as many countries as I can. I love traveling solo but creating and leading group tours for like-minded animal enthusiasts like myself has become my main drive. Africa is where my heart lies and I will eventually get around to exploring all 54 countries there!

sara

Hi all, I'm Sara! I'm a wildlife rehabilitator and certified veterinary technician. I've been guiding for the last few years and right now am an in-water swim guide with manatees in Crystal River, Florida. I've also guided groups of hikers through Yellowstone National Park in grizzly, wolf and bison habitat. I have a degree in Archaeology and Native American Studies, and I've got my Wilderness First Responder certification. So you're in good hands with me!
